Ken Robie & Ch. Snowspring Black Onyx, CD

Kenneth L. Robie was the owner of the Donnington prefix. He had the Donnington prefix long before I had ever met him - he and his previous wife Ann had a long and successful venture in Donnington Irish Setters.

We met in 1984 at an obedience class, where I was training Ch. Snowspring Black Onyx for his CD.  Ken took a keen interest in Rocky (and me) and before long, he had talked me into sending Rocky home with him to train and compete.

In 1989 we were married, and we had "his", "mine" and "our" Springers.  So, when you see Donnington in a pedigree, Ken had something to do with it!

Ken passed away suddenly in 2005.  He bred some great Springers, and their heritage carries on in my work today.
