"Skip Wil"
Scarlet Skipper x Witty's Charmer x Airliner
Foaled 3/17/82
Tatoo A1933
Registered Standardbred chestnut gelding, raced
as a pacer throughout New England until retirement age, at which time my late husband Ken and I purchased him to be Ken's
pleasure driving horse.
Ken passed away suddenly in October 2005, and
Skip remains in my care and is a constant companion for my Morgan gelding, Donnie.

"Carlyle Dapper Don"
Carlyle Control x Carlyle Vandetta
Morgan gelding, registered with the Archival Morgan
Record.
Foaled April 15, 1990.
He comes from a long line of World Champion Morgan
horses.
There is only one word to accurately describe
Donnie's personality - "character". He is the master of fun, there is no trick that I have ever tried to teach
him that he hasn't learned - and remembered! On a serious note, he jumps, has basic schooling in dressage,
rides western and neck reins, but his real forte is driving. He loves to drive, and it shows!

Donnie is teaching his Aunt Lisa how to do a slalom
course of cones! Lisa didn't signal Donnie soon enough and he is off course - or was it his idea?
|
|

|
Well, it looks like our the team is back
on track. Donnie decided that he had better show Aunt Lisa how it is done. Anything for a piece of chocolata cake!

Donnie and I practicing a SLOW western jog, which is very
hard for him to do, as he is a very hot, forward moving horse.

The end of the lesson, and looking forward to yet another
piece of chocolata cake?!
In case you haven't gotten it by now, Donnie LOVES to eat.
In addition to the standard carrots and apples, he loves chocolate, donuts, cookies, candy, ice tea, banannas, ice cream, and
has even been known to wolf down a ham sandwich and fried shrimp.
Skip is much more sensible. He loves oreos, banannas,
donuts, and the usual horse treats such as apples and carrots. He refuses to eat most of the junk Donnie wolves down.
